Prestosuchus

This large land crocodile reached more than seven metres long and was one of the main predators of Triassic South America. Its powerful legs indicate that it was a fast runner (just imagine this thing chasing you at full speed!) . Animals like these dominated the world before the dinosaurs diversified.
